An elegant skirt in a mesmerizing print! Made in the late 40’s, in mid-calf length, with medium weight cotton. Silhouette is full, with a nice drape (not a full circle). Print has a hand painted look. Oversized blue fruit with leaves and branches is set against an abstracted background in brown and ochre. Closes on side with a metal Talon zipper and hook and eye on waist band. Waist is slightly adjustable, with two eyes about an inch apart.
In excellent condition. There’s one small light spot on front, below waist, that doesn’t detract from the piece at all.
