An ethereal beauty for a special occasion. Light-as-air, sheer, silk crepe is cut with deco seaming and bias skirt and hip ruffles that float about the piece. Pulls on style, with no closures. Narrow self-belt closes with a rhinestone encrusted silvertone buckle. Dress has thread belt loops on side to hold it in place. Unique capelet features an integrated waist tie that wraps around and ties on front. Body of capelet is lined in a stiffer blush crepe, while waist ties are left unlined. Presents well and is in good condition with some flaws. There’s a liquid halo stain on lower part of back skirt that is somewhat obscured by the print. Also a small brown spot on back hip ruffle. A few pinholes on shoulder straps. Minor underarm discoloration, and a few light marks on lining of capelet. Small section of separation between capelet fabric and lining on back of neck. Belt buckle is missing many rhinestones, including center baguette. Also, and most strangely, there’s a little scrap of what looks like pattern paper trapped in between the two layers of silk of capelet’s waist tie (along with some visible threads at seams).
